LOS ANGELES grant program

We are offering a limited number of in-kind grants to support the production of Earth-centered creative events across Los Angeles that uplift environmental justice, collective imagination, and cultural healing. Through this program, we offer in-kind production support, venue access, and marketing amplification to artists, organizations, and cultural leaders ready to make climate action beautiful, accessible, and joy-filled.

We are calling on the artists, the storytellers, the visionaries, those who perceive the world through a different lens to step forward and create in the name of Nature.

Through our grant program, we’re funding creatives who are ready to put on bold, healing, and Earth-centered events that uplift both the planet and their creative platforms. Whether through installations, performances, or participatory public works, this is your chance to transform climate anxiety into collective action.

In a time when many feel overwhelmed by the scale of environmental challenges, your art can cut through the noise and offer clarity, beauty, and a spark of hope.

We call you to apply if you are:

  • Ready to produce Earth-centered events, installations, performances, or public works

  • Aligned with values of climate justice, equity, spiritual healing, and community transformation

  • Based in or deeply connected to Los Angeles

  • Experienced in producing events or gatherings with environmental, cultural, or social impact

Grant Awards

Earth Calling offers five distinct in-kind grant opportunities, each tailored to support a unique type of Earth-centered experience. Grantees receive access to venues, mentorship, technical production support, and event amplification—no cash awards are currently being offered.

top-tier event Award

For: immersive performances, concerts, or public gatherings with broad reach
Includes: Solotech Studios venue and production

Nature-Based Immersive Event Award

For: land-based ceremonies, rituals, installations, or ecological experiences
Includes: Butterfly Mountain venue

Sound System Grant Award

For: DJs, sound artists, or organizers leading sound-based climate-aligned events
Includes: Full sound system to use at environmental focused event and keep thereafter

Film Screening Award

For: short or feature-length films or film festival focused on environmental themes
Includes: Solotech screening room 

Intimate Event Award

For: community circles, healing ceremonies, artist talks, workshops, or dinners
Includes: The Nest Hollywood venue

CONTENT CREATORS AWARD

For: creators using a space to produce aligned, Earth-centered digital or multimedia content
Includes: The Nest Hollywood venue

Program TimelinE

  • Applications are open July 13 – August 15, 2025.

  • Applicants will hear back within a few weeks of applying.

  • Selected applicants will be invited to a short interview with our team.

  • Grants will be awarded and events announced in early September 2025.

  • Awarded events will take place September–December 2025.

Through the Earth Calling Grant Program, all awardees will receive IN-Kind Support including:

Venue Rental & Permits:

Access to one of our signature Earth Calling partner spaces (as applicable).

Sound, Lighting, Stage & AV Equipment:

Full technical support for immersive and polished productions.

Production Mentorship:

One-on-one guidance from our logistics team to help you bring your vision to life.

Amplified Through Earth Calling:

Leveraging Earth Calling’s platform, media reach, and sponsor relationships to bring each event to a broader and more engaged audience.
